"Andy Pandy diapers have been wonderful diapers and I'm so glad I found them. I'll never use any thing else."
Absolutely! The bamboo fibers that we use for Andy Pandy diapers are naturally grown and harvested (no chemical fertilizers, pesticides, and all those harsh stuff!). In addition, bamboo plants are naturally hypoallergenic and antibacterial which makes them perfect for even the most sensitive skin!
The layer of the diaper that is made from 100% bamboo fiber is biodegradable, yes! However, to make the diapers more effective and durable, we also make use of some non-biodegradable parts such as the sap, elastics and adhesives. Currently, Andy Pandy diapers are 86.5-87% biodegradable.
Depending on composting conditions, the average percentage degradation of our diapers is more than 60% in 75 days.
I absolutely love Andy Pansy bamboo diapers. We live a low tox lifestyle and have been looking for diapers
That are eco friendly and non toxic and fell in love with AndyPandy. They are aooo absorbent and our little one has never had a rash since we started using them!
We discovered Andy Pandys two years ago shortly after our first child was born. We use them when we're not cloth diapering. My twin sister had her first child four days after I had mine, and I bought her some APs and she's also now been using them for two years.
I had my second child several months ago. She immediately developed a terrible rash from the crappy diapers the hospital used. The rash disappeared after I put her in APs, as I expected it would.
We love them because we can feel better about using disposable diapers when cloth isn't ideal. I actually compost the APs. I recommend them to everyone who isn't using cloth. They are better for the environment and for our children!
Great overnight, keeps poop in, soft yet durable!
We really like it
My son has been wearing Andy Pandy diapers almost exclusively since getting out of the NICU. He's 10 months old and never ever complains about a wet diaper and I think that's attributed to the absorbency of these simple, yet effective diapers. I chose this brand over all others, after reading what felt like hundreds of reviews and websites, because they seem to be the most natural and environmentally friendly disposable diapers manufactured. I love that they're a simple white style. I love the materials used in the diaper. It's rare for my son to have a diaper rash or red bottom. He never fidgets with the diaper so I think it's comfortable for him. The material is soft, very absorbent. Now that he's on solids, there's no more blowouts. When he was exclusively breastfed, we had blowouts but I have never heard of a diaper that 100% prevents that. I think, as long as the diaper was put on correctly, and timing was right, I could catch it before he blew out. So we didn't have an effective number of blowouts.
When my son was in the NICU after he was born, they used huggies and, though we had no problems with the diapers, I chose to switch to Andy Pandy because they're more environmentally friendly.
I like almost everything about Andy Pandy. The only problem I consistently have is regarding the adhesive (velcro-like) strips. Quite frequently, while trying to wrangle a squirmy little baby, I'm struggling with the strips. The velcro-like material often rips bits of the diaper as I try to release it from their fixed position and then there's fuzzy material stuck to the velcro and if you don't see it to remove it, the velcro becomes less effective at keeping the diaper on the baby. Recently, It's happened multiple times where my husband (who doesn't see as well as me) has changed the baby's diaper then, soon after, the diaper starts falling off the baby. It's definitely something I wish the manufacturer would look into fixing, that's actually why I'm writing this review. But honestly, I don't think I'll change diaper brands unless the diapers keep falling off. Then I guess I'll have to look for an alternative eco-friendly diaper.
